The Law Of Attraction is simply this: We attract whatever we think about, good or bad. The thoughts you think literally can turn into the events you experience, the materials you possess and even the health of your body! There are even parts of our brain that call our conscious attention to things that are important to reaching our goals and to filter out those things that are unimportant. So let’s look at an example:

Sometimes I have a hard time trying to get myself to work out. Some days it feels even impossible to get my running shoes on my feet. When I feel this way, and absolutely force myself to go for a jog, I do not feel any benefits. I feel sluggish, I feel I am not putting my all into the workout, and I just keep creating excuses for myself to cut my jog short. “Maybe I will stop here and cut through this path…Hey, at least I got some exercise in.” Is this actually going to help my health and fitness? Making excuses will not bring a healthy lifestyle; it will not bring beneficial results for your own fitness goals (or the lack of goals).

Our own thoughts, repeated daily, are one of the primary ways that our brain is programmed on a sub-conscious level, which is the level of beliefs, habits and automatic behavior. To change these results of making excuses and not being able to hit your fitness goals, you must overwrite old negative programming and install positive new programming into your subconscious. Let’s look at another example:

Set goals. Tell yourself that tomorrow; you are going to pack a lunch that is going to knock the Gods of nutrition off their feet. You are going to hit all the different nutrients, and it is going to be absolutely delicious. Tell yourself the next day, that no matter what, you are going to hit the pavement and go for a light jog. Try and hit 2 miles! Tell yourself that “YOU CAN DO THIS!” Picture yourself a month from now, and promise yourself that you will be better than today. This is going to bring the best fitness and health to your life that you could ever think possible.

To wrap it all up, if you are receiving the same negative results in your life, such as the same health problems, or the same body fat continues to return even after you lose it, then you have probably been unconsciously running old negative programs and re-enforcing them with negative thoughts. “Making excuses”. Write goals, do some positive self-talk, and give yourself some mental imagery and you will reach any fitness goal possible…through the law of attraction.
