One of my favorite daily routines to assure my good health is using warm lemon water to start my day in addition to apple cider vinegar in a glass of water!

I am all about maximizing the unknown of what is happening inside me with these two "elixirs."

Warm Lemon Water: This should be done first thing in the am before anything else: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon in an 8oz glass of warmed water (not boiling but a little warmer than room temp). Drink up! Catch the vitamin c but rest easy knowing that it rehydrates you from sleep when we lose a lot of water from breathing AND it detoxifies the liver and a nice clean liver helps burn fat more effectively. Unknowingly the bile build up in the liver prevents optimal functioning.

Braggs Apple Cider Mixed with Water: Put 1-2 teaspoons in an 8oz glass of water and drink up to neturalize your stomach. The body is much more efficient in a non-acidic environment and the cider vinegar helps out even though we know vinegar is acidic on it's own outside of the body. It must be an all natural/unfiltered cider vinegar!

You can also mix the vinegar in with the lemon water and reap all the benefits in one step. And for those of you who just have to have something sweet you can add a tad of honey or maple syrup.
